 Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can bridge deep technology with real-world applications. You will lead strategic partnerships, customer discovery, and commercialization efforts for our cutting-edge imaging platform.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both technical innovation and market dynamics and can translate complex capabilities into compelling value propositions.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships across defense, aerospace, industrial, and mobility sectors
  • Engage with potential customers to understand use cases and requirements for advanced imaging systems
  • Translate Deepera’s technology into clear business value and product positioning
  • Lead early-stage pilot projects, partnerships, and customer engagements
  • Support grant applications, proposals, and investor-facing materials
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis in imaging, photonics, and AI sensing
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and AI teams to align product roadmap with market needs

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, or related field
  • 3–7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or technical sales
  • Background or exposure to one or more of the following:
    • Photonics / optics / semiconductors
    • Imaging systems or sensors
    • AI / computer vision technologies
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working with deep-tech startups, defense programs, or hardware products is a plus

 Nice to Have

  • Existing network in defense, aerospace, or industrial sectors
  • Experience with government funding programs (e.g., IDEaS, SBIR, etc.)
  • Familiarity with edge AI or embedded systems
